We are looking for an energetic and creative Dance Teacher to join our school. The candidate will be responsible for teaching dance, developing students’ performance skills, and preparing them for school assemblies and cultural events.
Teach different dance forms to students as per the school curriculum.
Train students for school assemblies, Annual Day, and cultural programs.
Encourage creativity, rhythm, coordination, and confidence in students.
Choreograph dance performances for school functions and competitions.
Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment during dance classes.
Identify talented students and encourage them to participate in competitions.
Ensure proper care and use of the dance room, music system, and props.
Participate in school meetings, activities, and events when required.
Diploma / Degree in Dance / Performing Arts.
Training in classical, folk, or contemporary dance forms preferred.
Prior experience teaching in a school is an advantage.
Strong dance and choreography skills.
Ability to work with students of different age groups.
Good communication and classroom management skills.
Passion for performing arts and student development.
